As a CEO of a medium sized, complex non-profit for 25 years, I have been fortunate enough to spend almost my entire 37 year career in the non-profit arena. Starting as Associate Director of a medical foundation, then moving to a family planning clinic for ten years as Senior Vice President, and ultimately being hired and serving as Chief Executive Officer of Child Health Investment Partnership for the past 25 years- my life’s work has been serving people by moving non-profit organizations forward in a financially efficient and effective way.

 

I think I always knew this is the work I was meant to do. Since I was very young I dreamed of opening a school for runaway girls. Instead, when I turned 21, I became a Big Sister with the Big Brothers Big Sisters local organization. I mentored my “little sister” and after she was grown, I mentored her son. I still am in touch with her to this day and am grateful for the work of the non-profit that made this life-changing relationship possible for both of us.

 

My experience working for non-profits for almost four decades has given me tremendous experience in the field. There is likely very little that I have not had to tackle. I know I can help you and your organization do the great work you are meant to do.
